A native of East Texas, Dr. Jonathan Walgama specializes in diseases and surgery of the eye.  He, his wife and their three children enjoy living in Longview and are active within the community.  Outside of work, Dr. Walgama enjoys spending quality time with his family, church and Bible activities, golf, music, and working outside on the family land.


After completing his Ophthalmology residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute, Dr. Walgama is proud to offer medical and surgical treatment for a wide variety of eye related conditions.  He has a special interest in small incision, no shot, no stitch cataract surgery.  He also employs the latest techniques in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, as well as oculoplastic eyelid surgery.  He considers it a privilege to be trusted to provide the highest quality eye care and surgery to his patients, right here in Longview.
